The tour is totally FREE. Our guides put their knowlegde and love for their city and turn it into a fun and informing 2 hrs tour. You ‘d only have to follow them, enjoy your walk, learn more about our history and ways and at its end, TIP if you feel like it.

How many people can join the tour?

The minimum number of participants for the free tour is 6 persons and the maximum 16. We have decided to put a limit of up to 16 participants, in order to be easier to walk through the city and keep high standards during the guided tour. The concept is to get quality service with a licensed guide, as in any of the private tours that we offer as a travel agency.

What if we are less than 6?

In case that the participants are less than 6: Free tour will be cancelled and you will be informed for that in writing, through e-mail. In this case we will also inform you about special offers for other highlights of Crete (guided tours with professional guides at Knossos or the museum for example) or events in the city of Heraklion.

We are a group can we join the tour?

The free tour is for individuals and small groups of maximum 6 people. Groups of 7 people or more are required to book private tour. (Please Contact: 1618freetour@gmail.com).

Seven years later, I can say that this city never stops to amaze me with her ever-changing figures.
